Future Stars of AZ
Future Stars of AZ creates pathways for inner-city youth to reach their higher-education goals — with a focused emphasis on technology and career readiness. The Fair Catch Foundation's $75,000 grant fuels their scholarship, mentorship, and STEM programming, helping the next generation of Arizona students step into classrooms and careers that would otherwise be out of reach.

Foster Angels of Central Texas
Foster Angels of Central Texas works to improve the lives of children in foster care by ensuring each child has their basic needs met and providing life-enhancing, life-enriching opportunities whenever possible. Our $100,000 grant — raised through Celebrity Waiter Night — helps fund clothing, tutoring, birthday and holiday gifts, and enrichment experiences for the most vulnerable kids in the Central Texas foster system.
"Children who for one reason or another have been turned over to our foster system are often the ones who suffer most from underfunded systems. Foster Angels is on the ground every day, filling those gaps."

Foster Village Austin
Foster Village Austin wraps around foster, kinship, and adoptive families with the tangible resources and community they need to say yes to a child in crisis. Our $20,000 grant — made possible by the sponsors and participants of Pro's Week — helped stock their family support center and expand direct assistance during an especially difficult stretch for Austin families.

Helping Hand Home
Helping Hand Home provides therapeutic care, education, and forever families for Central Texas children who have experienced abuse and neglect. Proceeds from the 2nd Annual Bowl With The Pro's Charity Event funded our $20,000 grant, directly supporting on-campus therapy, classroom resources, and the daily work of giving kids a safe place to heal.

Community First! Village
Community First! Village is a 51-acre master-planned community in Austin that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness. Our grant helped fund the everyday infrastructure — from micro-home essentials to community programming — that turns housing into home.

AISD Joint Juvenile Gang Unit
The Austin ISD Joint Juvenile Gang Unit partners with schools, families, and law enforcement to intervene early with at-risk students and steer them away from gang involvement. Our grant supported prevention programming, mentorship, and family outreach — meeting kids where they are, before a decision becomes a life sentence.

Child Inc.
Child Inc. has served Central Texas families for more than fifty years, delivering Head Start, Early Head Start, and comprehensive early-childhood services to children from low-income households. Our grant helped fund classroom materials, family support services, and the early learning experiences that put kids on a stronger long-term trajectory.

2016
Thomas Family — Austin, TX
The Foundation's first act of partnership began with the Thomas family, a family of six (with one on the way) working hard in Austin on near-minimum-wage jobs. When their only vehicle failed, Ray Thomas and his fiancée LaCha were struggling to get to work and keep their family safe. After a chance meeting at Town North Nissan, the Foundation surprised them with a Nissan Pathfinder equipped with two baby seats and a third row so the whole family could travel together. The vehicle was the first step in a long-term commitment to help the Thomas family become fully self-sufficient.
"My husband and I started the Fair Catch Foundation in 2017. Our goal was to help families create sustainable, inter-generational change. We understood that in order to make a long lasting impact, we would need to address the compounding issues that affect so many of our struggling families."
